Shay 'Psycoustix' Godkhindi, experienced the beautiful and twisted sounds of psychedelic music in 2000 when he bought his first Goa Gil album. Ever since then Shay has been listening, spinning and producing psychedelic trance.

He first started to spin music in Mumbai in 2005 and at the same time began to produce his own tunes. Since moving to Dubai in 2007, Psycoustix has already made his mark by headlining at one of Dubai’s main psychedelic portal Ravelations@ Club Touch (Dubai) in 2008 and 2009. In the current year, he has truly set himself as one of the leading Morning psychedelic DJ/Artist's in the U.A.E and has been spinning at various major events like Unit:E's - Fraktal Fridays@ Chill Rooftop (Dubai) & opening for big acts like Neuromotor.

If you ever do get the chance to catch one of Psycoustix’s sets, you will notice the immense power and energy that he exuberates along with the killer music he plays. Psycoustix always strives to expand his horizons to create a more full on & intelligent psychedelic sound.

Psycoustix is currently working on his debut EP titled “Vivid Creations” which is due in 2011 and already has an international release under his progressive EDM avatar ‘Somas’.
